NASA soars at Oshkosh air show
NASA Marshall Center Director Stephenson to speak at EAA AirVenture expo July 26-27
NASA will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Experimental Aircraft Association's AirVenture Air Show opening July 23 in Oshkosh, Wis. with its most ambitious presence to date.
Art Stephenson, director of NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., will speak to air show attendees about the continuing mission of NASA's flagship vehicle, the Space Shuttle. And a host of exhibits including scale mockups of experimental flight vehicles and space transportation hardware will spotlight NASA's emerging hypersonics research, advanced propulsion technologies and other vital missions.

Who: Stephenson who heads the Marshall Center, a key leader in NASA’s Space Transportation and Propulsion Systems missions will discuss Space Shuttle propulsion technologies and the continuing success of the Shuttle program. The Marshall Center is responsible for managing Space Shuttle propulsion elements.
