Space Shuttle STS-105 crew to visit Marshall Center Tuesday, Oct. 16

What:

 

Crew members of the Space Shuttle Discovery STS-105 mission will visit NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., Tuesday, Oct. 16. Discovery carried the Leonardo Multi-Purpose Logistics Module — an Italian-built carrier filled with laboratory experiments — and the Expedition Three crew to the Space Station. The Marshall Center was responsible for the design and development of the Multi-Purpose Logistics Module.

     
When:  

Tuesday, Oct. 16 During their visit with NASA and contractor employees, the crew will:

10 -11 a.m. – Show a video and talk about their mission

11 -11:30 – Sign autographs and meet with news media
