Countdown: Marshall Center to announce Schools in student rocket design project

What:   Which Huntsville-area high school team has "the right stuff" to design and build a reusable rocket and a science payload that will be launched to an altitude of more than a mile next year? Officials from Marshall Space Flight Center, NASA’s lead center for space transportation systems development, will announce which team(s) will advance to the next round of a competition that began nearly three months ago.
     
Who:   Marshall Center Director Art Stephenson and school officials and students of the competing high schools. The University of Alabama in Huntsville and Alabama A&M University, which are collaborating on their own rocket and payload, will also be represented.
     
When:   Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 9:00 to 9:45 a.m.
     
Where:   Marshall Center, Building 4200, Media Relations Office, room 107. News media will be escorted to the announcement site at the International Space Station mockup in Building 4625.
