NASA Administrator Goldin to Brief Media Feb. 7 on 2001 NASA Budget; Marshall Director to Discuss Center Outlook

The NASA fiscal year 2001 budget briefing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. CST, Monday, Feb. 7. NASA Administrator Daniel S. Goldin will conduct the briefing, to be held at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C., and broadcast live on NASA TV.

A summary of the NASA budget request will be distributed at the beginning of the news media briefing.

Following the Headquarters briefing, Arthur G. Stephenson, director of the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., will be available to talk to news media about Marshall's funding allocation under the budget proposal, and what the outlook is for the Center’s major programs.

Media representatives may participate in the briefings from the Marshall Center Newsroom, Room 115 in Building 4200. Media planning to attend should call the Media Relations Office at 544-0034. There will be an opportunity to pose budget-related questions during each briefing.
