MEDIA INVITED TO TOUR SPACE STATION EXHIBIT ON DISPLAY IN COOS BAY, ORE.

News media are invited to visit a full-scale mockup of one of the International Space Station's science laboratories and the crew living quarters which will be on public display in Coos Bay, Ore. The exhibit will be open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., May 10 - 11, at the Coos Bay City Parking Area.

NASA representatives traveling with the exhibit will be on hand to talk about the Space Station. Also, NASA managers are available for interviews via satellite or telephone to talk about Space Station research and how it could one day improve the quality of life for people on Earth.

The International Space Station is considered to be the largest cooperative scientific program in history, drawing on the resources and scientific expertise of 15 nations: The United States, Canada, Japan, 11 European countries and Russia.
