For Release: Oct. 15, 1996 Dom Amatore RELEASE: 96-172 NOTE TO EDITORS: AUDIO TRACK FROM X-33 VIDEO Enclosed is the audio portion of a NASA video on the X-33 Advanced Technology Demonstrator, a half-scale prototype launch vehicle being developed under a partnership between NASA and Lockheed Martin. The audio track from the 8 1/2 minute video titled "X-33: The Stepping Stone to the Future" is provided for your information and use. The audio tape features comments on the X-33 program from T.K. Mattingly, former Apollo and Space Shuttle astronaut and Lockheed Martins vice president for reusable launch vehicles, and Gene Austin, NASAs X-33 program manager. A press kit containing NASA news releases on the program, as well as a still photo and one-page fact sheet, was sent to your organization last week under separate cover.
