NASA ADMINISTRATOR TO BRIEF ON RESTRUCTURING FRIDAY; MARSHALL DIRECTOR TO BE AVAILABLE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS

A briefing on NASA’s Zero-Base Review will originate from NASA Headquarters at 10:30 a.m. CDT Friday, May 19. The briefing by Administrator Daniel S. Goldin will be carried on NASA TV. Huntsville-area news media may monitor the briefing and ask questions from the NASA Television Studio in Building 4207 on Rideout Road at the Marshall Space Flight Center.

During his briefing, Goldin will discuss the results and answer questions about the internal review team’s proposal for management and organizational changes at NASA. The proposals will be assessed through the summer months and used to formulate the Agency’s Fiscal Year 1997 budget submittal.

Marshall Center Director Porter Bridwell will be available to the media in the Public Affairs Office Press Room in Building 4200 at 2 p.m. CDT to answer questions on the subject.
