NASA is developing magnetic levitation technology that could help reduce the cost of getting to space. Dr. Denis Edwards, a researcher at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England, sets the controls of an experiment that magnetically levitates a sled and propels it across a 20-foot track at 120 mph. Maglev experiments are being conducted in a University of Sussex laboratory.
